Applications

Silane OSi HIOSil BO 35 is an essential coupling agent used in industries as below:

• Widely used as a cross-linker/coupling agent/accelerator/promotor for RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) silicone rubber and silicone sealant. 

• Used as a neutral curing agent in silicone sealant formulations.

• Used in combination with methyloxime silane. Compared to formulations based on methyloxime silanes only, the use of combinations containing methyl- and vinyloxime silanes leads to a shorter skin formation time of the silicone sealant without a reduction of the curing time. The ability of the sealant to withstand stress early, required for a certain elasticity and tear resistance, is achieved.

Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid light.
