The silane terminated polymers are liquid polymers, which are used as a main binder in sealants and adhesives. We developed a comprehensive technology platform that finds its application in the production of various sealants and adhesives. The product portfolio is based on a polyether polymer backbone, which is functionalized with a silyl alkoxy-functional group.
The silane-terminated polyether technology has some clear advantages compared to other traditional technologies. The advantages can be divided into three main groups: application, production process and environmental advantages.
During construction application, the excellent primer-less adhesion to various substrates is outstanding and in combination with its permanent elasticity, high durability and easy smoothening a game changer for the industry.
In production, the resin exhibits broad compatibility with various raw materials and allows both physical (heat) and chemical (room temperature) processing to manage the moisture in the finished product
From an environmental or health point of view, the absence of isocyanates, solvents or other harmful substances makes it a user-friendly resin, allowing craftsmen to apply the products at high frequency without any health risks. On top, due to the low volatile organic content (VOC), the formulator can easily develop sealants and adhesives that can be certified with the highest environmental standards worldwide.
Application
1. Construction Solutions
The construction sealants made with OSi STP polymer are higher in strength, and stronger in adhesion compared with silicon sealants; They have a longer shelf life and better weathering resistance than PU sealants.
2. Industrial Solutions
The industrial sealants and adhesives made with OSi polymer have no bubbles, no yellowing, and no isocyanate groups, with longer shelf life, better weathering resistance, and are more eco-friendly than PU sealants. Combining the advantages of silicone sealant and the PU sealant, the STP sealant is with broad formulation latitude and application.
Low viscosity triethoxy capped polymer is with excellent molecular adhesion, which can meet the requirements of car assembly and electronics products. The sealants made with OSi STP polymer release a small amount of ethanol gas when curing. Using more eco-friendly dibutyl tin diketonoate as a catalyst and secondary amino silane as a curing agent reduces the release amount of methanol. It can also be mixed with, for example, trimethoxy polymer to make a fast curing system. Only a little dibutyl tin diketonoate can make curing faster.
3. Waterproof Solutions
The waterproof products made with OSi STP polymer have excellent water resistance, are eco-friendly, good weathering resistance.

Storage
Because this product is moisture sensitive, If unopened and stored at 4℃-30℃ dry environment, the shelf life is 12 months.
Use it as soon as possible if opened, the remaining products should be resealed and stored at a 4℃-30℃ dry environment.
But if the shelf life expires, you can still use it only after your positive confirmation of production performance.
