  • Silicone resin is a type of polymer that forms a spatial network structure skeleton by alternately connecting silicon atoms and oxygen atoms, with side chains connected to silicon atoms by different organic groups. Silicone resin coatings are coatings mainly composed of organic silicone resin or modified silicone resin as the main film-forming material, with excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, corona resistance, radiation resistance, hydrophobicity, stain resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, and toughness, In recent years, there has been rapid development in the application of products.

  • For a long time, the preparation of high-temperature resistant coatings has relied on solvent based silicone resins, typically using toluene or xylene as solvents. Traditional high-temperature resistant coatings not only increase VOC emissions and cause environmental pollution but also have potential harm to the health of operators. Under this trend, our company launched OSi SROSil MP50 water-based high-temperature resistant silicone resin lotion to help customers achieve water-borne high-temperature resistant coatings and meet the market demand for ultra-high temperature resistant coatings.

Uses

  • This product is widely used in water-based paints that require long-term high temperatures. When combined with appropriate pigments and fillers, it can be used in water-based coatings that require salt spray resistance, weather resistance, and other applications. The main application directions are as follows:

  • High temperature-resistant water-based coatings for household appliances, cookware, stoves, fireplaces, ovens, kilns, flues, chimneys, automotive tailpipes, and engines.

  • Weather-resistant and anti-corrosion outdoor metal water-based coating.

  • Water-based insulation coatings for household appliances (such as non-stick pot coatings), electronic and electrical components, and electromechanical products.

  • The most suitable base material for preparing high-temperature resistant water-based thermal insulation coatings, fireproof coatings, heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, thermal conductivity coatings, insulation coatings, etc.


Usage Suggestions

1. It is recommended to prepare water-based resin-free color paste first, and then use it together with water-based silicone lotion;

2. The prepared coating has good room temperature self drying properties. If you want to achieve excellent heat resistance and physical and mechanical properties, it is recommended to fully cure under conditions of 200-280 ℃ for 10-60 minutes, preferably 220 ℃ for 30 minutes or 280 ℃ for 10 minutes.
