Properties
Vinyl epoxy silane oligomer OSi HIOSil 297 is a copolymer of vinyl silane and epoxy silane, which has wear-resistant and enhanced adhesion;
Mainly used in solvent-based, platinum-catalyzed, and emulsifying coating curing systems. It can effectively improve the wear resistance of the coating, improve the adhesion between the coating and the substrate, etc., and can replace Dow Corning DC297;
Adding amount: Generally recommended adding amount is 0.5%-1.5% of the total formula.
Mechanism of Action
Anchor is a necessary component of silicone release agent. In addition to providing adhesion, it also affects the peeling performance of the release film, such as peeling force, residual adhesion rate, etc. It is stable when stored at room temperature and is added to the release agent formula. As a medium, it has little impact on the curing and peeling properties of the release film, which is conducive to obtaining low peeling force, and the peeling performance of the release film will not change significantly during long-term storage; at the same time, it will produce good adhesion and will not release any toxic and harmful gases during the curing process of the release agent, nor will it release free silicone oil that affects the viscosity of the pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Applications
Mainly used in the field of release agents. Release agents, also known as anti-adhesive agents, are coated between the substrate and the pressure-sensitive adhesive to protect the adhesive layer and prevent the adhesive layer from becoming contaminated or sticking to other items and becoming ineffective. In addition, application areas include labels, baking paper, self-adhesive envelopes, hygiene products and electronic products.
