Chemical Name: Polymethyl Alkly-Methyl Phenyl Alkyl polysiloxane
Properties
Organosilicon leveling agent which has defoaming properties. It can improve the surface properties of solvent and solvent-free coatings, especially for leveling properties. Different from mostly silicone auxiliary, it is functional in defoaming form (No or little foam stabilizing) which depends on the polarity of the coating system.
OSi PAMPAP C96 increases the smoothness of the surface, scratch resistance and anti-adhesive property, prevents Bernard swirl, and improves the orientation of flatting agent and aluminum powder. Even in a high solid system that is hard to flatten, it will not cause sparkle. In a leveling-coating system, OSi PAMPAP C96 can make the curtain of coating stable.
OSi PAMPAP C96 can endure high temperature at 250℃/480°F and it will not lower the interlayer adhesion during the re-coating process.
