• OSi FLUOROSil F8261 is a bifunctional silane possessing hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxysilyl groups and fluoroalkyl chains. 

• OSi FLUOROSil F8261 is used as a surface modifier on hydroxy-functional substrates like glass, or ceramic (e.g.Treatment of automotive glass).

• OSi FLUOROSil F8261 can be used as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials and fluoropolymers (PTFE, fluorosiliconeect).

Usage 

• OSi FLUOROSil F8261 can be diluted to a proportion in ethanol and various other organic solvents, e.g. n-hexane, xylene, acetone, or ethyl acetate.
