Properties

Thanks to the specific reactivity of the 2-aminoethylaminopropyl structure, using Silane OSi HIOSil DAMO-T as an adhesion promoter in Glass - fiber reinforced or filler-modified plastics reduces the filler's sedimentation tendency and improves dispersibility and numerous mechanical properties (e.g. flexural strength, tensile strength, modulus of elasticity) of the composites.

The use of Silane OSi HIOSil DAMO-T in these materials also results in a markedly improved resistance to water (vapor) and corrosion. Electrical properties, such as volume resistivity and the dielectric constant, are also positively influenced.

■ Mineral-filled polymers (composites): For pretreatment of fillers and pigments or as an additive

■ Paints and coatings: As an additive and primer for improving adhesion to the substrate
